A false post is doing the rounds on the internet claiming that India has recently stopped supplying electricity to Bangladesh.

India secured a dominant victory over Bangladesh in the first Test, winning by 280 runs to lead the series 1-0. Ravichandran Ashwin's century and solid contributions from Indian batsmen and bowlers were pivotal.

India and Bangladesh are currently in the middle of a two-match Test series. While the hosts wrapped up the series opener at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai inside four days winning the match by 280 runs,
