Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday said India is ready to embrace Pakistan and start a process of dialogue with it provided the neighbouring country gives a guarantee that it will stop promoting

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh addressed poll rallies in Kotranka and Sunderbani in support of BJP candidates ahead of J&K assembly polls.

Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh stated that Pakistan has sought a seven-billion-dollar bailout from the IMF, while PM Modi has provided more for J&K. Singh criticised opposition parties in J&K and assured statehood restoration if BJP forms the government.

While addressing a public rally in J&K’s Rajouri, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said, “Pakistan is pleading to IMF for a bailout package of USD 7 billion. The package given by the PM for the development of Jammu and Kashmir is ten times more than the amount of the bailout package that Pakistan is asking for.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, while campaigning in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri today, said that India wants good relations with all its neighbours. He pointed that Pakistan is encouraging terrorism and that India is ready for talks with Pakistan only if it stops supporting terrorism.

Congress and People’s Democratic Party (PDP) of misleading people by talking about the restoration of Article 370 of the Constitution in their manifestoes and said these parties should stop working as “proxies of Pakistan”.
