Three massive wildfires are burning in Los Angeles, with thousands of residents being told to evacuate their homes.

The Eaton Fire, located just a few miles north of Pasadena, California, has grown to more than 10,000 acres, officials said Wednesday, as authorities say Los Angeles County’s uncontained flames continue to spread—prompting the evacuation of tens of thousands of people.

Tens of thousands were evacuated as more than 5,000 acres burned in the Palisades Fire in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood in Los Angeles. At least 1,000 structures are estimated to have been destroyed in the fire.
