Rockstar Games is reportedly delaying the release date of Grand Theft Auto VI to 2026.

A former GTA developer says Rockstar won't know if it needs to delay Grand Theft Auto 6 until the middle of 2025, just like with GTA 4.

Although the game's trailer initially confirmed a 2025 window for its release, the date was eventually narrowed down to a fall release date per a Take-Two financial report shared in May — meaning that we can expect GTA 6 to drop anytime between September to even December 2025.
