Satirical news outlet The Onion buys Alex Jones' Infowars in bankruptcy auction
The satirical media company The Onion won the bankruptcy auction for control over Alex Jones’ Infowars, according to court records and social media posts Thursday. The Onion plans to close Infowars and rebuild the website to feature Internet humor writers and content creators, NBC News reported Thursday morning.
