Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton says his office is suing federal officials for declaring a rare lizard endangered earlier this year

Texas Land Commissioner Dawn Buckingham, M.D. enlisted the State of Texas to file a lawsuit Monday against the Biden-Harris Administration's U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) over the classification of the Dunes Sagebrush Lizard (DSL) as endangered under the Endangered Species Act (ESA).
