In their last game at the time of this writing, the New York Rangers had a 3-0 lead over the Dallas Stars within the first ten minutes of the first period.

Despite being in complete control of the puck, Miller lost it as a forechecking Sam Steel charged to disrupt a pass attempt behind the Rangers net. He fed Thomas Harley to make it 4-4 at the 17:21 mark of the third period.

With the Rangers leading 4-3 late in the third, K’Andre Miller seemed to be in control while with the puck in the defensive zone. A forechecking Sam Steel changed that. He charged at Miller, breaking up an attempted pass behind the net to seize possession. He fed Harley for the game-tying goal.

The defenseman was traded to the Rangers by the Kraken on Dec. 18 for Kaapo Kakko. Borgen,  paired with K'Andre Miller, has played well.

What will it take for the Dallas Stars to milk out just a few more wins in May and June? The Stars are looking to make that lunge at the trade deadline on March 7 as one of the league's most aggressive buyers on the market,
