The 49ers are going all-in for a Robert Saleh reunion. The former New York Jets head coach has an offer on the table from San Francisco to become the highest-paid defensive coordinator in the NFL, according to The Athletic’s Matt Barrows.

Another year, another new defensive coordinator for the 49ers. Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports that Nick Sorensen will not return to the position in 2025. Maiocco adds that there is “hope” Sorensen will remain on the staff in another role.
