BENGALURU: While all legislators have come out in support of Siddaramaiah continuing as chief minister despite the high court upholding the approval given by the governor to conduct an investigation against him in the MUDA case,

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah reiterated on Thursday he will not resign as he again denied any wrongdoing in the allotment of 14 sites to his wife by the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA). Terming the charges against him a "BJP conspiracy", Siddaramaiah said he would wage a legal fight.

Former Speaker and senior Congress leader K.B. Koliwad has strongly suggested that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah resign amid ongoing allegations of corruption related to the Mysore Urban Development Authority (MUDA) land scam.

Affirming that there was no question of Siddaramaiah resigning over the matter, Deputy CM DK Shivakumar dismissed the protest as mere political theatrics and accused BJP of attempting to stir a row.

Santosh Hegde dismissed the CM's claim that he has not committed anything wrong, and said the HC has found that prima facie there was evidence of wrongdoing.
