Police allege the man was armed with a knife and during the encounter, one of the sheriff’s deputies fired their gun, hitting the man. The man, who has not been identified, was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. None of the officers were injured in the incident. KSP said the investigation into this incident is ongoing.
