With training camp for the 2024-25 season nearing, the Los Angeles Lakers are preparing to bounce back from a disappointing 2023-24 campaign. They have made virtually no offseason additions, and while many are predicting doom and gloom for them, some feel they're being underrated or counted out.

Los Angeles Lakers guard Austin Reaves says that LeBron James does not play in one-on-ones and doesn't consider them real basketball.

Rui Hachimura seems to be a player who Lakers fans either think highly of or feel is a chronic underachiever. He may not be a star, but he could play a vital role in the team taking a step forward this coming season.
